COMMUNITY BOARD 2 (CB2)

CB2 is one of 59 geographically exclusive, independent City agencies that serve as the most local form of representative government in NYC weighing in on transportation, land use and other matters. CB2's district encompasses Downtown Brooklyn, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn Heights, Clinton Hill, DUMBO, Fort Greene, Fulton Ferry, Navy Yard, and Vinegar Hill.  Check out its website for the calendar of meetings and to sign up for its email newsletter.  CB2's 50 members are volunteers appointed by the Borough President and City Councilperson. Currently, 3 Dumbo residents sit on CB2: Suzanne Quint, Jessica Krejcie and Doreen Gallo. 

All community board meetings are open to the public. We encourage Dumbo residents to become involved by attending committee meetings.  There are also opportunities to apply to become public members of committees as well as board members.
